Landscape Installation
Landscape Installation
A successful landscape in South Louisiana starts below the surface.
At Rouse’s Horticulture, our installation process is built on plant science—not guesswork. Every project begins with an understanding of your soil, drainage, sunlight, and long-term plant performance.
We install:
- Garden beds and foundation plantings
- Trees and shrubs suited for Louisiana conditions
- Seasonal color and annual rotations
- Native and pollinator-friendly plantings
- Drainage solutions integrated into planting design
Rouse's brings years of hands-on horticultural experience to ensure plants are installed correctly and set up for long-term success. Lee and Brittany work closely with clients to develop layouts that feel natural, balanced, and tailored to the home.
This isn’t “drop and go” landscaping—this is intentional well-thought out installation with the customer's needs in mind.
Landscape Design
Garden & Landscape Design
Good design is more than picking plants—it’s about creating a landscape that fits the space, the home, and the way it will be maintained.
Brittany Rouse leads the design side of Rouse’s Horticulture, focusing on layouts that feel intentional, functional, and thoughtful within the South Louisiana environment.
Our design process considers:
- Core design principals and interest
- Plant size at maturity (not just at install)
- Seasonal interest and color balance
- Maintenance requirements
- Drainage and soil conditions
- How the space will actually be used
Designs can be paired with installation services or provided as an addition to our horticulture consultation.
The result is a landscape that not only looks good—but continues to make sense over time.
