About Me

I am a dedicated and licensed arboriculture and horticulture professional with extensive experience delivering high-quality services to commercial, residential, and construction clients. My expertise spans tree care, plant propagation, and educational programming, underpinned by state and international certifications.

Horticulture Leadership

For seven years, I served as a Horticulture Extension Agent across multiple parishes, where I developed research-based programs supporting school and community gardens, local nonprofits, and Louisiana Master Gardeners. My efforts focused on enhancing competency through Master Gardener classes, demonstration plots, field collaborations, workshops, and group meetings. I planned, implemented, and evaluated educational programs to elevate horticultural knowledge in assigned areas.

Propagation and Nursery Management

As Head Propagation Coordinator, I managed crop production, ensured planting schedules, and conducted experiments to optimize propagation practices. I scouted mother plants, maintained greenhouse sanitation, and oversaw plant health to maximize yield. As a Plant Nursery Supervisor, I identified plant pests, provided treatment solutions, assisted customers with plant selection, and supported landscape design, ensuring vibrant, healthy plants.

Arboriculture Expertise

As a State-Certified professional with the Department of Agriculture and Forestry and an Internationally Certified Arborist through the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA), I bring in-depth knowledge of pruning, tree removal, and healthcare practices. My Tree Risk Assessment Qualification (TRAQ) ensures safe and effective management of tree-related risks, providing tailored solutions for diverse accounts.

My commitment to excellence, paired with hands-on experience and a passion for advancing horticultural and arboricultural practices, allows me to deliver impactful results for clients and communities alike.
