Lee Rouse, Managing Owner & Horticulture Director

Lee Rouse is a dedicated, licensed arboriculture and horticulture professional with extensive experience serving commercial, residential, and construction clients. His expertise includes tree care, plant propagation, and educational programming, supported by state and international certifications.

For seven years, Lee worked as a Horticulture Extension Agent across multiple Louisiana parishes. He developed research-based educational programs for school and community gardens, local nonprofits, and Louisiana Master Gardeners through classes, demonstration plots, workshops, and field collaborations.

As Head Propagation Coordinator, Lee managed crop production, planting schedules, greenhouse sanitation, and plant health experiments to optimize yields. As a Plant Nursery Supervisor, he identified and treated plant pests, assisted customers with plant selection, and supported landscape design.

A State-Certified professional with the Louisiana Department of Agriculture and Forestry and an Internationally Certified Arborist (ISA), Lee holds the Tree Risk Assessment Qualification (TRAQ). He specializes in pruning, tree removal, tree healthcare, and risk management.

Lee’s hands-on expertise and passion for horticulture and arboriculture enable him to deliver high-quality, impactful results for clients and communities.

Brittany Rouse is a landscape designer and horticulture professional based in South Louisiana, specializing in creating functional, visually cohesive outdoor spaces grounded in strong design principles. With a background in art, she brings a unique creative perspective that blends artistic vision with practical, science-based horticulture.

As co-founder of Rouse’s Horticulture, Brittany expertly integrates composition, balance, and spatial design with a thorough understanding of each client’s property, lifestyle, and needs. Her work bridges aesthetics and functionality, transforming landscapes into intentional, resilient environments that are both beautiful and practical. She focuses on structure, clarity, and purposeful plant selection to create thoughtfully curated outdoor spaces that reflect the character of both the land and its owners.
